Graduation Application Instructions
Students must submit a Graduation Application to be evaluated for degree or certificate completion. Follow the steps below to apply online:
- Log in to MySite
- Click Open Student Dashboard on the Student Self-Service tile.
- Select Graduation Application and complete the following steps:
- From the Term dropdown, select the most recent term available.
- Choose your Program for Graduation.
- If multiple programs appear, apply for one program first, then repeat the process for any additional programs.
- Program not listed? Submit the form to add your program. Once added, it will appear on your graduation application.
- From the Graduation Date dropdown, select the term you plan to graduate.
Important Information
- You may only apply for programs that are declared and active on your student record. If a program is not declared, submit the form.
- A separate application must be submitted for each degree and/or certificate.
Qualifications
- Must have completed at least 45 units of degree coursework to apply
- Must have submitted official transcripts to Admissions and Records from all college/universities for which coursework is to be used.
- For students who have completed AP, IB, CLEP, ROP:
- Must have submitted official reports for Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate (IB), CLEP, or Regional Occupational Programs (ROP).
- For students who have coursework from other countries:
- Must have submitted foreign transcripts through an approved credential evaluation service showing detailed course descriptions with unit and GPA breakdown.
- If you have questions or concerns, please see a counselor prior to submitting an application.
- Must have submitted official transcripts to Admissions and Records from all college/universities for which coursework is to be used.
- For students who have completed AP, IB, CLEP, ROP:

For students completing noncredit courses in a prescribed pathway, approved by the Chancellor's Office, that prepares students to take credit coursework, including basic skills and ESL, a certificate of competency may be awarded. A noncredit certificate of competency means a document confirming that a student enrolled in a noncredit educational program of noncredit courses has demonstrated achievement in a set of competencies that prepares him or her to progress in a career path or to undertake degree-applicable or nondegree-applicable credit courses. For students completing noncredit courses in a prescribed pathway, approved by the Chancellor's Office, leading to improved employability or job opportunities, a certificate of completion may be awarded. A noncredit certificate of completion means a document confirming that a student has completed a noncredit educational program of noncredit courses that prepares students to progress in a career path or to take degree-applicable credit courses. - At least one course required in the Occupational Skills Award must be completed at ÃÛÌÒAPP.
