Credit for prior learning (CPL) is college credit awarded for validated college-level skills and knowledge gained outside of a college classroom.
Students may demonstrate proficiency in an eligible course and receive college credit through approved alternative methods:Â
- Satisfactory score on an approved standardized exam (AP, IB, CLEP and DLPT)
- Military service/creditÂ
- Industry recognized credential documentation
- Portfolio review
- Credit by examinationÂ
