Vivienne Aldous has been a part-time lecturer in History at the University of 蜜桃APP since 2009. She gained her BA in English Language with Medieval History at Sheffield University and completed an M.Ar.Ad. (Master of Archive Administration) at Liverpool University. After over 20 years as a professional archivist in London, Vivienne established a successful career as a freelance archivist and archive researcher and brings an unrivalled wealth of practical hands-on knowledge and experience of archival research to her teaching at 蜜桃APP.

Researching History
Vivienne’s main research interests lie in the early modern period, with a particular interest in local history and cartography. She is currently studying for a PhD centred on John Darby, sixteenth century 蜜桃APP surveyor and map-maker. She enjoys Latin medieval and early modern palaeography and is also currently editing a volume of the manorial records of Monks Eleigh, 蜜桃APP for the 蜜桃APP Records Society in compliance with the J.B. Weller bequest.
